Adding a cargo station to pick things up from solved my problem, and it may help you? Apparently the distro offices don't recognise these multitanks as holding different liquids, but the cargo stations are set up to have different inputs so it works fine.
I have to say that the tank farm with the ability to have different liquids in each tank is one of the best storage mods that I use.
Now I was wondering if it is possible to do something like that with an aggregate storage, to have 2, 4, 8 chamber storage for aggregate so you can say have one large store to hold a number of aggregate types?
Small maybe 2 max
Large maybe 4 max
It might not be possible but as you managed witchcraft to make these tanks I thought I would ask?
Oh if you manage this witchcraft any chance the convayer ports can be in useful places unlike the original buildings?
If its not possible no problem, still love these tanks though.
