A revival of my previous 28 days later inspired zed reskin, this time for Build 41. I took inspiration from the classic 28 Days/Weeks later films as well as some more recent films that have breathed some fresh life into the zombie genre like Train to Busan and #Alive, to take these infected guys into more of the genre-wide area rather than pinning them down to a specific movie.

Both choices are presented as sub mods - if you like 28 days, go for the regular 'Infected Style' submod, if you prefer the creepy Korean inspired ones, enable Korean Zeds!


For best experience, use Sprinters. This mod will still work with shamblers though, as they are only textures.

zach snyder zombies are interesting, but to get more in depth of how they look you should see the making of dawn of the dead on youtube (start from 24:48, there's an explanation of the different stages of zombies later in the video.)

I'll probably change the name back or just have both names for the alternative pale-eyes submod whenever I get around to upgrading this for b42. I personally have no vested interests in b42 until MP is released, so yeah.

Yep. That's now the Korean Style Zeds. Same textures, different name - imo they're very similar to the Snyder zombies and zombies that have appeared in other early 2010's zombie media such as ZombiU. All quite veiney and pale.

But yes they're still there just under that name instead now.

Keep in mind I have a shit ton of these mods, so it would be an entire process.

Waiting to see if it's worth bothering updating. I've heard talk of TIS updating for mod compatability, b42 being way too unstable and messing with mods, etc. I'm not even personally interested in b42 right now so it may be a while - I don't even know why it doesn't work, all it does is change textures...

I love the reference to the movie. 28 Days Later is one of my favorite horror movies out there, so this might be perfect to try out when I get better at the game
