Vivala's Kyrgyzstan (Roza Otunbayeva)

The death of the Soviet Union was also the birth of a collection of states in Central Asia. One of these new nations is Kyrgyzstan, which has since been plagued by collapsing industry and authoritarian strongmen. In this mod, you play as Roza Otunbayeva, Kyrgyzstan’s third president, and the first female head of state in Central Asia. Otunbayeva played a key role in the two major Kyrgyz revolts of the 21st Century, coming to power as interim president in 2010. During her presidency, she successfully pushed for a constitutional reform that shifted the nation to a parliamentary system, weakening the power of strongmen and setting Kyrgyzstan on a path towards being a leading (albeit still troubled) figure in Central Asian democracy.

UA: Infected by Freedom - Constructing new buildings temporarily grants additional happiness. Buildings are 33% cheaper during Golden Ages.

UU: Frontier Force - Replaces the Infantry. +15% strength in friendly territory and an additional +15% strength when defending. Once unlocked, receive a free Frontier Force whenever you form a DoF or when you capture a city with a military building.

UB: Tranzittik Borbor - Replaces the Airport. If this city has any incoming international trade routes, all cities receive +2 Defensive Strength (max +20). This city receives +2 Defensive Strength for each additional incoming international trade route.

As Kyrgyzstan, your goal is to pump out buildings, which in turn means defending yourself without breaking the bank on units. In the early game, you can do this by taking advantage of your hilly start location. In the late game, you can use your UU, UB, and some clever diplomacy to turn yourself into a fortress sporting a border guard like no other.
