Flinging with Portals is the third chamber of the set of 19 chambers from the Journey for the Cake series. It was made in 2012, so don't come complaining stuff like "OMG THE LIGHTS ARE SO BRIGHT" or "THE TEXTURES ARE MISALIGNED". I've decided to upload only some of the chambers due to some being pathetically easy. As the name implies, this chamber involves flinging and stuff.

Q: How do I download this?
A: Press the green 'Subscribe' button with the plus sign beside it. It'll download to your Portal 2 workshop maps folder. After that, load Portal 2, go to 'Play Community Test Chambers', 'Play Single Player Chambers' and find 'Flinging with Portals'. Click it and click play.

Q: How long did you make this?
A: I forgot, it seems like a week or two.

Q: How did you make this level?
A: Portal 2 Authoring Tools.

Q: Etymology of the level name?
A: You fling with portals. Duh.

Quite good fun, but you've come a long way since this one :) . The bit I really felt really dumb about was that it took me ages before I realised I could get to the far side with the cube by just holding it above my head :steamfacepalm:

I solved it but I did not several months ago when I first attempted it. 2nd puzzle is not my favorite type but I really like most of your puzzles.

i can't solve 1st puzzle: there's no cube! i think it must came out from the dispenser, but dispenser doesn't works! and there's no button to get the cube:p2cube:

Beat it finally! Though it was not easy with due respect.
Not only did you have to reorient the angle of your portals so the cube won't disolve by accidentally hitting the emancipatoin grid but you'd have to fling it sideways just to reach the button area where you'd have to pick it up again to place it on the button in mid air.

The map was more skills than puzzle. If you failed to transport the cube to the button, you were given the bounce and hope you grab the respawning cube punsihment. Thank god the portals have a funneling effect.

Nice map! I seem to remember that I have played it already but I'm sure it wasn't this one. Do you know if anyone copied it? Or maybe I'm mistaken... :)

the map is very cool, but isn't the Idea from just a part of a chapter of "the inquistition" mappack? it was fun but I had the feeling I'm playing a remake.
