In the year 2030, the Mormon church makes it's 6th attempt to secede from the United States, except this time, it succeeds. The state of Utah is now its own country, calling themselves "The People's State of Deseret". For those of you who don't know, Utah has tried to succeed a total of 5 times in its history, but this time they actually manage to pull it off due to the Federal Government being so bankrupt; that the US government is unable to do anything to stop them.

Utah is now a Theocracy that has the head of the Mormon church as the leader of the state with absolute power; just like a monarchy. The job of "Mormon Prophet" is an elected position, that anyone who is high up in the Mormon church can run for. The amount of terms is unlimited, however, if the people are unsatisfied they will elect a new leader. The people favor highly religious views and laws. Church attendance is compulsory, and every person in the country belongs to the sole state religion, as it is illegal to do otherwise.

Not that I know of, perhaps Democracy 4. Although the mod that I created does have a pandemic in it, as People that are highly religious tend to see praying as an alternative to Science. As a result, the healthcare system is very underfunded, easily allowing disease to spread.

this looks interesting, thank you for making this. I'm new to Democracy franchise and I can't seem to find anything covid or pandemic related, does it exist?
