Former WWF Intercontinental Champion Ahmed Johnson had a brief WCW run as Big T late in the company's existence.

Big T attacked Booker T during a match between Booker and his brother, Stevie Ray. Big T and Stevie then formed Harlem Heat 2000 before Big T defeated Booker T in a singles match for the rights to the letter "T" and the Harlem Heat name.

Harlem Heat 2000 fell short in capturing the WCW World Tag Team titles in a tournament at Spring Stampede, and Big T was released shortly after due to weight issues.
