The Saami are led by noaidie Rijkuo Maja.

Oh! Oh! Oh! A snow civ for Christmas!

Leader Trait: Hold of Tjekku Sacrifice
Units get +1 Sight on Snow and Tundra tiles. Rijkuo Maja can build the Unique Improvement: Siida. Rijkuo Maja receives +1 Governor Promotion when 2 Siidas are built in a city. Units are immuneto Blizzard.

Civilization Trait: People of the Sun and Wind
Snow tiles grant +1 Culture and +1 Food. The gold cost to purchase Snow and Tundra tiles is 33% cheaper.

Unique Unit: Stuorraniibi Soahtalas: Saami's unique melee unit that replaces the Swordsman. Unlike this unit, it does not need iron to be built but does require having a Barracks in the city. +5 Strength on Tundra and Snow tiles.

Unique Building: Lavvu: This building is unique to the Saami. Available at the Ancient Era, it yields +2 Amenities and +1 Housing.

Unique Improvement: Siida: Animal Husbandry unlocks the Builder ability to construct a Siida, Unique Improvement of the Saami. +1 Food, and +1 additional Food and +1 Production with the discovery of Mercantilism. +2 Gold with the discovery of Synthetic Materials. Tiles receive +1 Gold and Food if they are adjacent to a Siida.

Try to be as rich as possible, with the happiest people. Appreciate civilizations who do the same.
