How to fix "Failed to load steam.dll"

Because of a Steam update, Peggle (and most PopCap games) DRM broke, so here is how to fix that

How to fix it
1. Go to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam" (or C:\Program Files\Steam if you use 32-bit) on File Explorer. Copy "Steam.dll". Then, right click Peggle, go to Manage > Browse Local Files, and then paste what you copied. Rinse and repeat for all PopCap games you have.
Why this happened
Because of a Steam update, PopCap's DRM broke, and is giving that error instead of asking for the product key (which you don't have).

TL;DR: Bug on Valve's part.

Just verify integrity of game cache. works for me or just install the game again its not a big download.

If so, go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Peggle and paste it.

Right clicking on the Peggle Icon does NOT give me the Paste option or or "Manage - Browse local files. I'm stuck

when i launch it from steam it proceeds to open 29 tabs under the game that just say fatal error. i tried launching it from the folder, it said "failed to load steam.dll" and i thought this would fix it but it doesnt seem to of.
