F27-Izar : Interceptor Fighter

(SV CPU Tier 3, Class 1, Unlock Level 12)

1/ Primary roles: Combat SV, Drone interceptor, escort.

The F27-Izar is a medium fighter designed for interception and escort. It is relatively agile and has good firepower and high flight performance.

2/ Offense and Defense

The hull is built with armored steel and steel. It comes with armored cockpit and a shield. It was designed to intercept and escort in all situations and in all weather and gravity conditon. In this version, it doesn't have a warp drive in order to optimize performance. Therefore, it is an on-board hunter in a carrier CV.


Notes:
I designed this SV for fun and design. It is not really optimized for survival ... But I like it ;-)

Nice looking build. Recommend a direct front facing screenshot, to indicate profile, i.e., what the enemy sees and is trying to shoot at. The F27-Izar Interceptor Fighter looks like it has a narrow frontal profile and this is very desirable during head-on engagement.

what are those other ships in the picture where you have them escorting i really like the loog of the two above the fighter

Spoke with you on Facebook about this ship yesterday and as promised when I got home I gave it a run. Was able to take out three consecutive Drone bases with this ship on my test world, and it performed admirably. It's an excellent fast attack strafing run ship, and will likely make it's way into one of my carriers.

Well done all around. Looks good and performs well, which, in a video game, are two things I actively seek.
