IJN Hatsuharu Torpedo Destroyer

I needed a ship to accompany my BB/CV ship Ise, so I decided to make a lower point support ship that can be used with Ise once it is upgraded. Enter Japan's torpedo destroyer, the Hatsuharu-class destroyer. The most challenging part of this build was the reloadable torpedo turrets and the small-ship parts in the superstructure. They went through several iterations to be as safe as possible. Just like the real thing, it also had a lot of stability issues. But I finally resolved them by increasing the draft of the ship which was the correct setting and allowing manual tilt adjustment during very sharp turns using Q and E keys.

- Reloadable Tripple Torpedo Turrets, 30 torpedoes total

- Radar
- Front Battery and Torpedo Turrets synced to Captain

Main Stats:
- BP Cost: 16
- Minimum Crew: 2
- Full Crew: 8
- Speed: ~34knots (~18m/s), irl approx. speed.

- 2x APHE ammo containers
- .50 AP belt containers

Powerplant:
- 1x Hydrogen Engine
- 5x Batteries

Offense/Defense:
- 2x Dual 12.8cm KwK 44 L/55 Tank Gun (APHE)
- 2x Tripple Torpedo Turrets (1000lb Explosive)
- 4x Tripple 13mm Machine Gun as AAs
- 5x Depth Charges (2x Small Bomblets)
- Distributed heavy armor blocks
