2012 MP5 On Retail Arms/Animations

Because I can't be the only person who wanted something like this, right?

...Right?


This is a model edit/compile of the old 2012 MP5 model, from the mod release of Black Mesa, on the retail release's arms and animations. This is the first time I've done anything quite like this, and it took a good deal of work to get done, but I'm quite happy with the results.

The model's been fixed up to address missing faces, and some details have been copied over from the 2015 MP5. The texture has been upscaled and smoothed out, and the normal map was regenerated to make the whole thing look cleaner. There are almost certainly some minor blips here and there - bad UVs on some parts of the model, some slight clipping in the first-person animations - but I'm personally quite pleased with how this looks.

- Rebuilt, two-sided viewmodel, to work with Retail BM's animations smoothly
- A higher-poly worldmodel based off of the viewmodel
- Higher-poly MP5 magazine ammo pickup
- AI upscaled texture and recreated normalmap

I'm also planning on putting together the source files for this and adding them to the description later, so if anyone wants to make any edits to this (such as compiling it on IIopn's animations or Chris' HD arms), they're more than welcome to.
