Whiterun Thane's Hall by Ticklefeather

To become a thane in Whiterun you kill a dragon...A DRAGON. And as your reward you get a leveled weapon, a housecarl, and the ability to buy a little house. I think you deserve more.

This mod adds a Thane’s Hall and residence behind Whitewatch Tower to the northeast of the city. All thanes of Whiterun can live in the hall and anyone can come in and meet the thanes, trade with the merchants, and listen to the bard. But if YOU want to live there, you’ll have to become a Whiterun thane yourself.

Your housecarl LYDIA HAS THE KEY to all the locked areas in the Thane’s Hall. Check her inventory to get the key.

Features:
• 6 NPCs with daily schedules (two merchants, one bard, three followers/marriage partners)
• All the mod followers have the Light Step perk (won’t trigger traps)
• All crafting stations
• Plenty of safe storage and display
• Library (6 open bookshelves and 4 closed bookcases)
• Realistic interior lighting that responds to the time of day
• Private player bedroom (behind locked door in lower level, bed gives Well Rested effect)
• Bathing area (great for those who use the Eat, Sleep, Bathe mod)
• Shrines (one hidden)
• Two secret areas, one includes a secret exit
• Horse stable and small garden
• Followers can enter (Fully Navmeshed inside and out)

Notes:
• This mod is completely Vanilla, it does NOT require DLCs or other mods.
• Will conflict with any other mod that changes the area around Whitewatch Tower
• Adds a key to vanilla Lydia’s inventory, this may conflict with mods that edit Lydia
• Does not provide you with the ability to move your spouse and family, you’ll need other mods to add that function. I use this one by VitchRazor: Custom Family Home
• Can’t get into the locked areas? Remember LYDIA HAS THE KEY…become thane to spawn Lydia and access her inventory.
• Is your LYDIA DEAD?!?! Just use the console to unlock the doors. Poor Lydia...
