Don Callis

Don Callis wrestled for several years in Canada before starting up full-time in the WWF in 1997 as The Jackyl.

Callis led the Truth Commission before disbanding the stable after WrestleMania XIV. He formed The Oddities shortly after, then moved on to manage The Acolytes before he was released in 1999.

After leaving the WWF, Callis debuted in ECW as Cyrus the Virus, a TNN network executive. He regularly criticized ECW's hardcore content while praising other shows on the channel.

After ECW closed, Callis wrestled briefly on the indies before joining TNA as a consultant. However, he left the company in 2004 to work in international trade.

Callis returned to the wrestling business in 2017 as a commentator for NJPW. He joined Impact Wrestling later that year as an Executive Vice President and color commentator.

In late 2020, Callis served as a special guest commentator for a few Kenny Omega matches in AEW. Omega had requested Callis call his match against Adam Page with #1 contendership for the AEW title on the line. Callis called Omega's title match against AEW Champion Jon Moxley in early December, and introduced a microphone that Omega used as a weapon. Omega won the title and quickly escaped with Callis, who promised the Omega would appear the following week on Impact.
