David Sammartino

David Sammartino, the son of the legendary Bruno Sammartino, followed in his father's footsteps into the squared circle. However, David never achieved anywhere near the level of success his father had in wrestling.

David started wrestling in his early 20's and made his way to the WWF in 1984 with his father serving as his manager. David and Bruno teamed up often in the WWF, shining a spotlight on the younger Sammartino. Outside of tag matches with his father, David often wrestled on the lower card.

After leaving the WWF in 1985, David wrestled for the AWA briefly before returning the WWF later that year. His second run saw a return to the lower card.

Later in his career, David wrestled for AJPW and the UWF.
