PFI Presents: The Staria Voidrunner

The Voidrunner is a cheaply produced patrol craft meant for stealthy reconnaissance. The Voidrunner should be able to avoid most means of visual detection and if caught, can make excellent use of its acceleration and agility to escape any escalating conflict. Despite its size, it is equipped and handles similarly to small fightercraft. Its four gatling guns and two rocket launchers are synchronized to approximately 500 meters in front of the ship, and should be fairly effective at dispatching any craft within range. Should any craft manage to break through that 500 meter range, the weapons are gimbaled for a much closer 150 meter range. The large laser antenna built into the ventral hull of the craft can also be used to communicate discretely with any other similarly equipped craft or station over long distances.

A unique feature shared among the Staria line of ships is their compatibility with inventory and projector systems. By using a conveyor junction, a conveyor tube, and a projector, a Staria Voidrunner can be constructed, refueled, and recharged simultaneously.

Creator's note: due to its use of subgrids, while in natural gravity, the entire grid will slowly sink at a rate of 0.25 m/s. This is a known bug with SE.
