Schaku Type10 mod-dependency

This mod adds a model of the "Scharfenbergkupplung " short "Schaku" Type 10.
The dimensions are based on the norm EN 16019.

For mod-users:
you only need to install this mod if a vehicle requires it.


For mod-developers:

This mod is intended as a dependency for vehicles that use this coupling. If you do want to use this coupling you do not need further permission from me.

If your vehicle uses a similar coupling and you want to use my coupling as a starting point you can do so. You can find my Project-Files (Blender, FBX etc.) here:

The coupling you develop can be directly integrated into your mod (please change all file names)

If your vehicle uses my coupling or if you use it to model your own coupling, I would be very happy if you could credit me in your mod.


This mod contains:

- meshes for 4 lod-stages
- 256x256px dds-textures
- 3 coupling variants (universal, uncoupled and coupled)
- material file
- 2 example .MDLs demonstrating the use of this coupling (disabled in the game)

The coupling can be used in two ways:

1. variant:
- using only the "universal" coupling for both the coupled and uncoupled state
- example file: "mk_Schaku_Typ10_Beispiel_no_coupling_states.mdl"

2. variant:
- using the "ungekoppelt"-variant for the uncoupled state
- using the "gekoppelt"-variant for the coupled state
- example file: "mk_Schaku_Typ10_Beispiel_with_coupling_states.mdl"


Following lod-stages are included:
- Lod0 al three variants (2200 Tris)
- Lod1 only universal (900 Tris)
- Lod2 only universal (500 Tris)
- Lod3 only universal (70 Tris)
