About Repentance
This mod won't work with Repentance, here's a Rep compatible version!

No, it doesn't give you There's Options and More Options
Tired of holding R, then running to the treasure room just to find a very underwhelming item? Well, this mod helps you getting a good starting item.

What does it do?
This mods spawns 4 random items at the start of the game, but you can only pick one!
This should raise the chances of getting a good starting item. It also works on challenges so if you don't want the free item you can just ignore it.

We all know that the first floor tends to be the most important so a good start helps. Yes, you can defeat Mega Satan with the base damage, but is it fun?

After a lot of testing I think a single extra item doesn't guarantee you to win a run so I'd say it's a good change and hopefully it helps removing a bit of tedium at the beginning of the game.

The bugs are gone thanks to Nato Potato who suggested a solution to all this!
Any feedback or help is appreciated!

Because it's not made for Repentance, the mod API was updated and now it's different from Afterbirth+'s. Check the description, there you can find the version for Rep.

When I use this in Repentance it gives you all four items.

I just noticed mods are back. Unfortunately I don't think I'm going to update this and instead I'll make a version specific for Repentance. If I update this then it won't work for people who are still on AB+.

Hey, Mods' been enabled after the last update this morning, but this mod does not work as intended. I can pick all the four items, not just choose one from the four. Maybe you'd check it out?
