No Breathing Sounds

描述
Request by a forum user.

This mod sets the volume to zero for the breathing sound effect loop which is used when realistic sound is enabled and the visor is closed, as well as the out of breath sound that plays when the engineer has been running for a bit.

No other sounds have been modified (e.g. the suffocation effects are still at the vanilla volumes)

Have muted the volume for both male and female breathing sounds, but only tested with male.

Any way to remove the suffocation sound also, using the deadly suns mod and that sound is making me nuts..

Works perfectly! I love realistic sound settings but this breathing has been my bane for a while. Even with my helmet open they still play it drives me nuts. Found this mod just now and loaded up my save and WHAM! problem fixed. Thank you sooo much. Instant essential mod

@TK_Over50 - unfortunately i locked my game to version 1.196 a long time ago. It is possible that they have modified the format of the sound file definition so that this is not compatible any more. It will likely have had to have been within the past year based on the date of the previous comment.

When i get a chance to have access to the latest version (on someone else's machine) i will have a look and see if i can post a new version.

I can see about posting a guide to fixing it yourself. It would consist of finding the relevant parts of the vanilla Audio_player.sbc file and pasting them into the mod. But that will also not be for a little while. So i will see about posting a fix and/or making a guide in about 2 weeks, when i will have a chance to look at the latest code.

Is there an update for/alternative to this? I'm getting Audio_player.sbc errors:
I can push the truncated log entries upon request. Any help will be appreciated.

it should do - i keep my game locked to 1.196, but i doubt they would have made changes to how this feature works - all the mod does is mute the volume for the specific samples that are used for the breathing sounds
