Better New Game Plus

This mod adds an alternative New Game Plus to your world, if you hate the NG+ world generation this mod is for you. Upon entering the BNG+ your normal run world will be regenerated, even the bosses! You can replay the world with the temples back and no more horrible NG+ world gen.

Like the normal NG+ the difficulty is still scaled, so be ready for a challenge, you can disable individual scaling aspects in the settings file if you prefer no difficulty scaling, its enabled by default.

This will NOT remove the base game NG+, you can do both! You keep all your items/perks/etc when you enter BNG+.

Q/A

How Do I Enter BNG+?
Upon defeating the boss, enter The Works, you will see the BNG+ at the alter, you can either end your run or carry on, it's your choice.

Can I Configure BNG+?
Yes, use the settings menu in-game to configure the mod. (Mods>Mod Settings>Better New Game Plus)

Does this save like normal or will it reset?
Your game will save as normal, there's no special requirements, you just play as you normally would without the worry you're stuck with the horrible NG+.


I Don't See BNG+??
Make sure the mod is enabled, you can add it to an existing run. Its not currently compatible with any mods that expand the depth of the map, the only mod for this is very broken so unless its fixed I don't plan to add support for it.

@UGA BUGA! there is literally no need to do so, because there is NG+ and PARALLEL WORLDS integrated in the normal game now

This mod is most likely outdated and not functional anymore, I haven't booted the game up in a long time.

this might be because of some extreme ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ when my game crashed, but this mod seems incompatible with the chasm biomes mod. it replaced every biome from the mines and below with the tower, with the tower's mobs and music.

I made this mod ages ago, I'm not a deep lore diver or explorer, I start, I finish, I don't bother exploring the outer world which is why I made this at the time, just to simply regen my world with my stuff and go again.

I hope you know that you have literally unlimited bosses and perks in the normal NG+ too, its called parallel world ...
