Cody Rhodes

Cody Rhodes, the son of the legendary Dusty Rhodes, debuted in the WWE in 2007 and went on to become a multiple-time World Tag Team, WWE Tag Team, and Intercontinental Champion.

Rhodes briefly teamed up with Hardcore Holly before turning heel to join Ted DiBiase, Jr. and Randy Orton in The Legacy. The trio battled with former members of Evolution and DX for the next few years before breaking up.

Highlighting his good looks, Rhodes became "Dashing" Cody Rhodes in 2010 before breaking his nose in early 2011. Rhodes began wearing a protective mask to the ring to protect his face for most of 2011.

In mid-2011, Rhodes won the Intercontinental Championship and vowed to restore honor to the belt. He feuded with Randy Orton and The Big Show before teaming up with Damien Sandow in Team Rhodes Scholars.

Sandow and Rhodes fell short of capturing any tag team gold before Sandow won the Money in the Bank contract in 2013. Rhodes prevented Sandow from cashing in his title match contract multiple times before moving on to team with his brother, Goldust.

Cody and Goldust rose to the top of the tag team ranks quickly and won the WWE Tag Team titles in late 2013. The brothers remained a team despite a long losing streak the following year, and Cody promised to find his brother a new partner. That partner turned out to be Cody under a new gimmick, Stardust.
