The biggest flaw is that it's really hard to park it and still be able to get out, since the bottom will 9 times out of 10 be blocked by whatever you land on. If there was some way to open the top hatch mid-mission, this problem would cease to exist. As of now, I recommend you plasma cut the top to get out and fix it once you're back in.
The second flaw (which need not be fixed) is the blind spot on the back. Enemies will typically go for that blind spot on your back end, so I recommend you quickly switch to manual and jump to the left side and then quickly switch back to auto-pilot and get on the gun. This should force any enemies into the range of your gun, where they can quickly be shot.
This ship is fast and is exactly as advertised. The only extra thing I would recommend is adding a miniature coil-gun ammo rack, since making things tiny seems to be your forte.
