UPDATE 12/31/17! Completely changed the UA and the abilities of both UUs, in addition to overhauling the art! Make sure to finish any ongoing games before updating to V6, or else the saves will break.

This mod adds the Republic of Rhodesia under the rule of Ian Smith to the game.


Unique Ability: Unilateral Declaration of Independence
Great Person tile improvements and Landmarks gain +1 of their base Yield (to a maximum of +5) for every major civilization which has Denounced or is At War with Rhodesia. Upon discovering Radar, all infantry units may Paradrop.

Unique Unit: Royal Regiment
Unique Rhodesian Rifleman which receives a 15% Combat Bonus and heals faster in Neutral or Enemy territory. Additionally, each Royal Regiment stationed in neutral or enemy territory provides a +2% bonus to Great Person generation in the Capital City, to a maximum of +30%.

Unique Unit: Selous Scout
Replaces the Paratrooper, has a substantial combat bonus when attacking (25), has a chance to capture defeated enemy units, and is faster than the Paratrooper it replaces. (Model by danrell)

Very cool made! I really enjoyed playing for Rhodesia, especially with its musical atmosphere! It'd be great if you'd made South Africa in such a way.

On Yahem Tsl Rhodesia spawns on a mountain, and i've tried to go into Rhodesia mod support dokument and change where they spawn but it doesnt work, I have a lot of modded civs, could it be that one of the others is changing Rhodesias starting posistion?
