Carapace-C7

(CV CPU Tier 4, Class 7, Unlock Level 25, Version 1.x and Reforged Eden Ready)

The Carapace C7 is the 3rd generation Carapace class ship with a lot of bells and whistles. Unlike the previous models, the C7's focus is moving a large amount of cargo and vehicles also being able to deal with high gravity planets following an upgrade path.

The ship was designed from the start to serve both vanilla and Reforged Eden game play. It comes stock ready for vanilla (EGS version 1.x). Inside you will find a large info screen in the hangar area giving you instructions for a heavy lift option for the stock game as well as Reforged Eden conversion instructions. This includes the parts that are needed for both and where they should be placed in the ship. It was designed to meet CPU and power requirements for both versions of the game.

Stock features

Designed as a heavy hauler it comes with 24 320K storage systems and 80K ammo storage (Total 7,760K) and very powerful lift thrust (4XL CV thrusters). This is good enough to move a full load on standard planets but may need to have a heavy lift option installed dealing with higher gravity planets. It also comes with a 36 grow plot farm, small crafting area, large hangar and flight deck, crew rooms, and a engineering area. All storage is named and is physically accessible in the ship. Other standard features include: Repair bay, front and rear Wifi, Shield, detector, warp drive, teleporter, and most all survival comforts.

Heavy lift upgrade (Vanilla) and Reforged Eden conversion:

In vanilla game play, the ship is designed to add a heavy lift package which places 4 additional XL CV lift thrusters into the existing thruster pods. Instructions in the ship give a bit more information on this.

For Reforged Eden, a number of parts need to be added such as additional CPU blocks and power generators as well as an optional deconstructor (Reforged Eden only). Some more advanced options can also be done adding a heavy lift mode but would require more CPU via quantum cores or NPC crew.

Offense and Defense

The Hull is built with hardened steel. It, has a T2 shield, and a number or turrets to protect the ship from light attacks. It is not designed to be a combat ship nor does it have any CV launchers. It comes with 80K ammo storage.
