2. After that, you'll want to find the file that handles that customization; in our case, the file we're looking for is 99_portraits_angels.txt. In this mod, that file will be down /gfx/portraits/portraits. Open that file up, preferably in Notepad++ or a similar program.
3. Once the file is open, you'll want to use a Find And Replace function to replace all instances of "hair_selector" with "attachment_selector", then save the file, and that's it, that's genuinely all there is to it!
After that, once the .txt file is saved, you can go ahead and run Stellaris as normal and it should work. Just be careful of Steam redownloading the mod, because that'll give you back the broken version of it. Unfortunately I don't know enough to know how to upload a fix onto the workshop to do that myself, and nobody else seems to have seen fit to, so until someone does we'll have to resort to manual fixes like this.
1.For this particular mod, the first step is to find your Steam Worship folder on your computer for Stellaris. This should be under ...\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\281990\. This mod's ID is 2293887360, so to fix this particular mod you'll want to go to ...\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\281990\2293887360 in your file explorer.
[Continued in above post, want to be as thorough as possible]
