The Hochwald Gap Revised - Ver 1.4

This map was revised by trying to balance the terrain, so that forces on either side would not have the advantage. The map is ok for armor, but infantry and airborne troops will work better by dropping behind the enemies lines. Keeping in mind by taking the island could work in your flavor. But may not help you win the game. Use your engineers, they can play a big rule by placing obstacles to slow down your enemy advance. Also think about dropping the bridges they can slow down or push your enemy to do something deferent making them waste time and resources. This map only has two main avenues of approach if you can control them you can win the game. Map is best played at population 250 or less.
