The Last Stand Startup Screen

描述
This addon replaces the old startup loading screens with The Last Stand update poster. However, simply subscribing to this item isn't going to work, you're gonna need to do a few more things after that.

How to Install:

1. Subscribe and start your game, wait for it to finish download.

2. Close the game, go to your workshop folder, which is in :Steam/Steam apps/Common/Left 4 Dead 2/left4dead2/addons/workshop, find and copy the .vpk file of this mod (You should identify it by checking the thumbnail).

3. Make a new folder in :Steam/Steam apps/Common/Left 4 Dead 2, name the folder whatever you like, for example "screen".

4. Paste the .vpk file in the folder and rename the .vpk file into "pak01_dir".

5. Open gameinfo.txt located in :Steam/Steam apps/Common/Left 4 Dead 2/Left4Dead2, and add "Game screen" into SearchPaths segment (Check out the second screenshot).

6.(Optional) Unsubscribe.

@Rook808 You simply copy and paste the vpk file downloaded from the workshop into the folder you create.

i don't get the step 4 do i have to remove vpk, if not it won't work

i like this mod a lot, but the instructions aren't quite accurate. instead, for step #3, you need to make your new folder under "/common/Left 4 Dead 2", and NOT "/common/Left 4 Dead 2/left4dead2". once i copied all the contents from this addon into the first left 4 dead 2 folder i had no issues. again, gr8 mod, hopefully this will help other confused idiots like me enjoy it too :HappySally:

not works, i do all the steps man
