"Hangman" Adam Page won the Casino Battle Royale at the first AEW PPV event, but failed short in his effort to become the inaugural AEW World Champion later that year at All Out.

Page came to AEW as a member of The Elite and previously was a member of The Bullet Club in NJPW and ROH.

Page began teaming with Kenny Omega in early 2020 and the duo won the AEW Tag Team titles shortly after earning a title shot. Page and Omega began to have problems in the spring stemming often from Page's alcohol issues, and the they dropped the titles in September to FTR a week after Page was kicked out of The Elite.

Back on his own, Page has his sights set on getting back into the AEW World title picture.
