Prop Engine Maker Tool

A tool for making prop engines, no more janky pistons or other problems. Simply select what type of engine you would like from the drop down menu, then click on your chassis > crankshaft > piston.

You can then open the Q menu and change the values such as engine height, piston stroke etc.

Press R to unbind the engine parts when you are finished tweaking the values, and tick the “Generate Piston Engine E2” option if you want the addon to place down a pre-wired E2 chip. (Requires wiremod)

Makes Inline, V8 Block, Boxer and Rotary engines.


This addon is still very much in development, so please let me know if you find any bugs.

Models seem to have different orientations so I can only guarantee that this addon works when making SProp engines. I will add the ability to change axes in a future update.

2021.5.15 Update:

- Added Auto-Generated E2 function. This will create an E2 for you when you press R to complete the build.
- Added "Boxer" Engine type.
- Added option for axis or slider engine. Rotary engines require axis.

2021.5.1 Update:

- Removed all sliders. Engines now operate with axis constraints only for smoother engines.
- Added engine timing offset which allows you to offset your engine if you're having problems with your E2.
- Added anti-jank ropes as an option. May affect high speed engines.
- Added the option for sequential or middle-out engine timing. Middle-out offers a smoother running engine.
- Added piston number highlighting. Hover over a piston with the tool equipped to see what number each piston is. Useful for wiring sequences.
