VirtualMan lives in Vietnam - a country with diverse Asian cultural and artistic traditions. It was his life experience that created his interest in the artistic beauty of Eastern culture.
He'd been really passionate about Asian art styles, especially Japanese and Chinese and he used to share his passion with me, since I'm a huge fan of Asian culture too. This is how we got started with this design.

The initial idea was a Witch from Japanese folk tales, mixed with a bit of Japanese manga. We wanted to convey the image of a witch - essentially a snake capable of stretching her neck (quite like a character in Naruto). She has a mysterious background and a pair of magical eyes.

Style that we picked for our artwork - is an ancient and distinctive Japanese style with very specific motifs and patterns that are familiar to many people. The girl's face is also depicted with the pen drawing influenced by comic style - something suitable for today's popular culture.

Looking forward, we are planning to expand this direction turning it into a collection of many different artworks, as we really did enjoy the process.
