This is my first map, congrats on finding it...
The map (Warstalensk) is not a real place and is not really based on any real life areas, its simply a fictional, hand-made map that i've created.
The context behind the map is that its a back-water, abandoned area in the Soviet Peoples Republic, that has been almost entirely ignored economically, until now...
The map encourages you to use boats and ships, with some harbours already placed and having wide rivers and plenty of water which separates the map into two sides. However boats are not required as all resources are on both sides of the map, and so if you wanted you could only use one side at first, but there's also nothing stopping you from building long bridges instead of using boats...
There are multiple customs posts on the map, most are on the Soviet border.
There are plenty of trees, two mountain areas, valleys, some villages/settlements and roads across the map, there's also marsh areas and plenty of water with large rivers splitting off from each other as they form the river delta, with large islands in between the rivers. Overall the landscape is not too exaggerated, and there is plenty of space to build.

The map inculdes all the current resources.

• Oil
  
• Uranium
  
• Bauxite

They are all also sufficient in abundance without going too overboard, as well as being evenly spread across the map.

Also remember i'm not a professional but if you have any suggestions then by all means leave a comment stating said suggestions, however i cant promise i will implement them, but i would definitely consider them! you can have a look at my newer maps too via my workshop if you'd like.
