HMLS Mirror (Decommissioned)

Here's another of my themed airship builds.

"How many guns do you want on the new design?"

"Yes"

"Excuse me?"

"I said yes! Stick em on the top and bottom, fore and aft, triple stack if you need to!"

The HMLS Mirror features 24 166.66mm main guns (in twelve twin turrets arranged in superfiring triples fore and aft, ventral and dorsal) firing sabot shells, with each firing piece at 60rpm. The sabot shells they fire have enough AP to do full damage to backed metal. There are also twelve guns in twelve turrets around the superstructure, six per side, with identical stats. These "secondaries" fire solid/AP shot, since that is more effective against CRAMs and missiles. Speaking of that, the secondaries are hooked up so they function as CIWS, helping to deny a lot of incoming fire. The armor is fairly minimal, mostly 1m metal and 1m alloy, but with the CIWS downing CRAMs it holds up fairly well against the APS that get through. No laser defenses or anything. Despite how much of the structure is just guns, the centerline twin turrets don't break or get popped very often untill the side armor gets totally annihilated. The secondaries die pretty quick, though, so upgrade their armor to HA if you're concerned about that. There are fifteen simple 20mm AA guns clustered around the superstructure for just in case the main guns aren't enough AA.

The Mirror received her name for how symmetrical her design is. The gun layout is symmetrical in all three axis, leaving the superstructure, bow, and props as the only things which can indicate the direction the ship is facing. Alternate names provided by the crew include "Dakka Bricc" and "Porcupine"

Hope you like it. The solid shot APS should prove more effective against metal and do more to strip anything important. Take manual control and you can essentially shotgun anything on an enemy ship you particularly dislike.
For maximum damage potential you can pair it with another airship that fires more HE like the Nassau or Raider, since the HE should complement the AP shells really well.

Also keep in mind that the colors and reflections and overall appearance of my airships will vary significantly based on your graphics settings, so feel free to mess with your settings and the paint colors until you get them to look how you like.
