Revival of an old Armed Assault, OA, and classic Arma 3 mod from way back in 2013.[www.armaholic.com]
Requires Universal Ammo System for magazines, and CBA for optic support.

What is the Ares Shrike?
The Ares Defense Shrike 5.56 is an air-cooled, dual-feed weapon that fires the 5.56x45mm NATO cartridge. The Shrike 5.56 can be supplied as a complete weapon, or as an upper receiver “performance upgrade kit” to existing M16-type service rifles and carbines. It can accept M249 magazines, as shown in this mod. Basically think of it as a legacy M27.
