Please note that I have not updated this in a while, nor do I plan to. I can't help with any issues that may be caused by this mod.

NOTICE: IF YOU HAD A PREVIOUS VERSION OF THIS MOD INSTALLED AND IT'S UPDATED NOW, MAKE SURE TO DELETE YOUR SOUND CACHE FILES TO MAKE SURE YOU DON'T GET EAR PIERCING STATIC IN-GAME!
The sound cache file for my mod should be in (Steam directory)\steamapps\workshop\content\362890\2278860500.

The ORIGINAL Half-Life 1 weapon sounds, now in a quality that might blow your mind!

This wouldn't have been possible without the Valve Games Sound Origins discord, and a user by the name of Connie, who shared the samples in the first place.

You can find the link to the Discord in it.

Some sounds, like the Gluon Gun and the Hivehand, have not been found, and so instead I've remastered them the best I can. I don't think there should be a huge difference in quality, but let me know if otherwise.

Would you mind if i used these sounds in a mod i'm making? I"m remixing the 2012 the 2015 and the hl1 sounds together to get the best of all three worlds. i'd provide credit and link back to this mod.

Thank you for making this game playable. The original sounds are 100000000x better, realistic or no. Great mod.

Hey, is there any chance we could do something like this for Counter-Strike 1.6/Counter-Strike: Source? I loved the weapon sounds but they're so bitcrushed, it'd be nice to get the original HD sound effects.

the glock plays the wrong sound while reloading

CS armor pickuping sound plays when you just step on new killed soldier's corpse, even when you not taken something from that... that ammo and weapon pickup ''bonus'' really unnecessary!
