Most likely, but with HL2's most recent update, it may be more difficult than simply dropping the files inside the game's folders

Could this perhaps be ported to HL2?

idk why, but sometimes this randomly breaks. i tried disabling all addons but this, didn't work. tried inspecting which mod could break it, didn't work. genuinely, i'm confused on what could conflict it, specially since when i left this as the only addon enabled it was still bugged and not working.

there is also a improved strider fx thing but i cant find it

At this point I don't know why people wouldn't have ep2 in the first place, but thx for the warning

For everyone who doesnt see the addon working:

It actually works, but only if the hunter npc is ONLY from Episode 2. So basically all you need to do is buy Episode 2, it won't work if the hunter is ported from other addons that add him.

ZBase's hunter can also work, but Episode 2 is still required for better pefromance.

dude, it doesnt work, my hunters are shooting errors.
