The Jackrabbit is a versatile, tough, and agile ground vehicle which has been produced for over a century.

The hydrogen-electric hybrid engine boasts impressive range and fuel economy, while delivering unmatched power and torque to the wheels via a robust electromechanical 4WD system. With all-wheel steering, and suspension that can be independently adjusted in strength from 0-100%, the Jackrabbit can easily manoeuvre over even the most unforgiving terrain. With the suspension strength dialed up, and a stabilization gyroscope engaged (standard on all models), the Jackrabbit can achieve speeds of 360km/h.

The Jackrabbit can be outfitted with a standard 184mm Gatling turret or a 200mm Rocket Turret, and some have even been modified to accept a smaller, 45mm point-defence turret on planets where large calibre weapons are prohibited.

True to it's namesake, the Jackrabbit is an agile and swift vehicle. It excels at reconnaissance, anti-air, and light combat roles.


Notes:

The Jackrabbit is surprisingly tough for a small-grid rover; it has a blast-door frame and is made of heavy armour. There is a connector on the bottom, which is piped up to the hydrogen tanks and engine for convenient refuelling. A medium cargo container under the gun provides plenty of storage for ammo and other items (It can be accessed directly by a small access behind the spare wheel on the back). It's equipped with 4 gyroscopes to allow it to reorient if flipped (Do this via control panel). One of the gyroscopes has a toggle on the control bar for override control, this is useful while travelling at high speeds.
