This is a wiltOS Week 2020 Item:

Description
These are basically just DOD:S weapons made to look, feel, and animate as close to the game as possible in Garry's Mod. Some weapons had to be recompiled, some animations reworked, but ultimately the objective is to keep this accurate. Fact check it!

Features
  • Shouldn't require Day of Defeat Source

How To Use
Spawn the weapons from the Day of Defeat Source Category and GET SLAYING!

And also the iron sights on the kar are completely messed up

Okay so I've looked into the problem a little more ingame and its some sort of issue with custom playermodels that have a misalignment between the hand and the weapon. But on weapons like the thompson, M1, and bar have misalignments even on the default pms. Has this been an issue from the start or something caused by a gmod update?

I published my work to my workshop but the misalignment issue still persists. Hopefully if you do decide to try to fix it then you have better luck than me.

I would also be nice to have some custom reloading animations since I wanted to use this mod as a base to create a tf2 weapon pack with all the tf2 animations.

Also the firstperson aim down sights on some guns completely puts them out of the way. For me its a little wonky but if thats how the actual game is then so be it.

Well almost all the animations are misaligned with the hands. I dont know much about gmod animation stuff so I'm just saying its animation merging since I saw some other people say thats what the problem was and saw that gmod has updated the animaation system since 2020 and that the mod hasent gotten a update since 2020. I am at the moment working on trying to fix these issues by using claude. (I have no idea how to code) so If I succeed will will post the finished mod. But I do think it would be better if the actual create were to fix this issue because as I said, I have no idea what I am doing.

Please for the love of god fix the animation merging. Something broke in the 5 years since this has been posted and the animations are an ungoldy mess. Please king david we are BEGGING YOU TO FIX THIS.
