描述
Conduct a sweep through an insurgent held area using a mechanized infantry force.

This mission is based on military operations realized during the Soviet Afghanistan campaign as described by the book 'The Bear Went Over The Mountain: Soviet Tactics in Afghanistan', using RHS assets and ACE to deliver an authentic experience intended for milsim groups and military history enthusiasts in general.

It can be played both with a group of like minded people or alone by using the High Command module to control AI troops.

This scenario is a companion piece to another mission called "The other side of the mountain" which depicts a military operation in the same conflict, but from the mujahideens point of view.

While some of my scenarios are balanced around the use of the ACE mod, I have a number of scenarios where that mod is not required, if you are interested in playing these, you can go to this collection:
