Update: Apr 16, 2021 :: CANTALOUPE REVAMP UPDATE ::

Cantaloupe has been officially revamped! After several months of your feedback, we've hopefully put together a new version that can be a little more viable in the ring. Massive shoutouts to McDucky for all the work she put into doing this update and the beautiful sizzle reel in the trailer of our little ghost boy. Be sure to check out her other works and Kyort as well!

Note: This is the only and one time we'll update Cantaloupe lol. - Ducky.
#LEGALIZECANTALOUPE

-Cantaloupe can now only spawn a ghost once per airtime.
-Cantaloupe bug with holding special during U-Spec is fixed.
-Cantaloupe has more colors!

-Cantaloupe now has more kill power and faster frame data to reflect moves. Some moves have been given more hitpause as it was too low or non-existent. Removed angle flippers to make him feel consistent.

Command the void flame demon Cantaloupe. A jester of darkness, harnessing ghostly abilities for battle.

Cantaloupe is a floaty, short-ranged fighter. Use his ghost to control the stage and stay close to your opponent. Utilize an array of interactions with his ghost for situational play.

*Specialty moves*

Forward Tilt: A two hit kick that has a special combo property, allowing the first hit to be cancelled into his DTilt or UpTilt.

Neutral Special: Canta puts out a ghost onto the field. Similar to Absa's cloud, it won't affect the opponent until Canta interacts with it himself. Hitting someone into it with hitstun will cause Canta to teleport and replace the ghost, creating limitless combo possibilities! Canta can also use his strong attacks to make the ghost explode.

Forward Special: A grounded projectile that bursts fire from the floor, can be used to make his ghost explode from afar.

Down Special: A Mewtwo-styled short-ranged laser that can put the opponent into stun, the effect is strengthened with the opponents damage value. Using it on the ghost will extend the range and speed of the projectile.

Up Special: A quick teleport in any direction to recover, holding the button will make Canta teleport directly to his ghost instead.

Cantaloupe is my first time making a Workshop character as well as doing anything related to pixel art and coding. This was a two-week endeavor with several hours upon hours sunk into it.

I have to give a massive thanks and shoutout to McDuckyPotatoes who taught me how to code, what files to make and all the preparations as I was working on him, without her help this character would have taken so much longer to create (or possibly wouldn't even exist). McDucky also did all the coding for the specials, something I was really worried about going into this, so thank you for that as well.
