Miy'til light fighter / interceptor

<Official Lore>

Star Wars Legends starfighter. The primary superiority fighter of the Hapes Consortium, an isolationist group of star systems in the Inner Rim. Its small size meant that many of the components had to be minaturized, and armament was kept light as a result. Interestingly they served alongside X-wings onboard the capital ships.

<Role>

Small but fast strike fighter best suited for hit-and-run tactics. Propel towards the target at high speed, weaken the target's shields with the beam cannon, and spray laser fire using the twin gatling cannons. Due to its light hull and weak shield capability, extended dogfights are not recommended.

Inside the cockpit is a throttle limiter, which halves the number of working engines to achieve a slower cruise speed. When in effect speed maxes out at 300m/s, which is the top speed of the Miy'til bomber (also in my workshop)
