Muhammad Hassan wrestled for WWE from 2004-2005 using a gimmick that portrayed himself as a Jordanian-Palestinian who wanted to to escape prejudice brought on by being Middle Eastern after 9/11.

Hassan wrestled on Raw for six months before being drafted to Smackdown, where he entered into a feud with The Undertaker. Shortly after, the gimmick began to get negative press attention due to his insistence that he was not a terrorist in the wake of the London bombings.

Hassan was removed from TV and released a few months later. He became a middle school principal after retiring from wrestling after his WWE release.
