Remote Station Psi

Remote Station Psi is a repurposed obsolete ANQ-4 lifeboat; it is now used by scientists as a mobile research station to study the interplanetary migration patterns of sabiroid spores. This station is a completely vanilla design without the use of DLC or mods.

Remote Station Psi is a relatively low-cost build that is meant as a basic starter base, and includes flight capability for final positioning. This station is fully intact, but its condition is worn. This station includes three O2/H2 generators, one hydrogen tank, one oxygen tank, two basic refineries, a basic assembler, a survival kit, and two small cargo containers. Power is supplied by three batteries that are continuously recharged via 12 solar panels in two deployable solar arrays. Also included is a programmable block containing Isy's Solar Alignment Script coupled with a remote control that will automatically rotate the station to face the sun for an optimum battery charging process, and a programmable block containing Isy's Simple Doors to semi-automate airlock operations. One bow-mounted docking connector is included for resupply; as an option, the connector can be removed and replaced with a ship drill for replenishing ice stores and processing ore for maintenance purposes.

The solar arrays may be deployed and stowed using {6} from the control seat. Isy's Solar Alignment Script will take control of the station's gyroscope to perform the solar alignment by using the gyroscope's override function. Use {7} from the control seat to temporarily disable the programmable block and, if required, turn off gyroscope override using {8} from the control seat to allow uninhibited control of the station when using the station's flight features for repositioning and/or deploying or stowing the solar arrays.

Fully equipped living spaces are provided for four (4) players, including beds, refreshers, and cryo chambers.
