Lamentation class gunship

One of Codex's designs became unexpectedly popular with drifters and outlaws due to its low cost and ample cargo space. The Lamentation class gunship is also small enough to rift with little or no Xanthium. She's got enough power to run a single small shield generator, even though there are none installed in the stock version. Just replace the rift generator or one of the cargo pads if you need shields.

Features include:

• Cheap enough to build with the Drifter starting resources.
  
• Hard to hit - a small, fast target.
  
• Enough excess power to run a small shield generator if you want to add one later.
  
• A lot of cargo space for a ship this size. Carry lots of salvage.
  
• Small enough to rift without expending Xanthium*

*How to rift for free: You need a little Xanthium in the rift generator for this to work. When mass is set to 0, you get a free 12,000 mass rift. With fuel, guns, nanos, and Xanthium full, you won't have enough time to get through the rift before it shrinks, so press T to split your stack of Xanthium and put just a little bit in the rift generator. Needless to say, the cargo hold needs to be empty.
