I know I am a tiny bit late, but still, I have an edited version of this mod without the sight, with its textures repacked (not resized; just repacked), so the mod's weight is just slightly under 50 Mb instead of 180 Mb, and the model additionally optimised because it was causing crashes in custom campaigns from time to time. An adjusted HUD icon is included, too.

Put that VPK file in Left 4 Dead 2/left4dead2/addons

Please someone make a version without the red dot. Not a big fan of guns that have sights you can't use personally. This is the only good suppressed chome shotgun mod.

Is there a hud add-on link for this add-on?

I've finally found a replacement for the chrome shotgun that's silenced, doesn't include annoying camera sway when firing, and doesn't conflict with any of my other add-ons.
