Features

Mission Overhaul: Mercury has a feature where if you've built the Defence Matrix, you can drop in turrets on Protect The Device missions. It's really cool and goes a long way to making the Defence Matrix more worthwhile. Thing is, Protect The Device isn't especially common so you'll only get to use Turretfall once or twice a campaign.

This mod extends the Turretfall feature to also include Retaliations. It's pretty powerful, but if you're running something like Yellow Alert Gameplay with AI to AI activation that extra firepower can come in really helpful on a Haven Assault. The Defence Matrix is definitely worth building now.

Want Turretfall on even more missions? This mod is fully configurable, so you can add it to whichever missions you want.

I have an issue where Turretfall didn't appear on a Haven Assault (the variation where the civs are all huddled up inside while militia attempt to defend them)

Hey, I upgraded the Defensive Matrix room to quad turrets, but I can still only drop 2 turrets in Retaliation missions. Is this normal?

Just finished a campaign with about 685 mods, this one included, and had no major issues! Thanks for putting this up.

I really wanna use this mod but I saw in the comments of the mercury mod that if you get a Protect The Device mission you can't beat it because of some changes made to it, it's a shame you can't make this standalone.

A standalone version would require stealing code from Mission Overhaul. So no.

There's a bug in Mission Overhaul where no turrets appear if you staff the Defence Matrix. I sent the author a fix for it a while back, but they're pretty busy.

They're required. The Turretfall Sitrep itself is in Mission Overhaul: Mercury.
