Or instead of attacking all arguments it could deal damage to the core, based on the number of friendly and hostile arguments in play
For example "Gain shielded, create a friendly argument that deals +1 damage to the owner's core argument for each non-core argument in play"
It could be either immune to any damage or have a lot of health and start at 1-2 damage
I thought it could be called something like "mental reset", since you're fine for the turn you played it in, but coming back into battle may be hard in the long run
It's more of a way to survive that big attack and as long as you can quickly beat your opponent, you'll be fine
Both idea are centered around making that battle quicker, but you have to pay for it
Use 75% of max health, gain power 10 and limits healing
(I think there was something to block healing)
Or gain 10 power and 99 shield, but after 2 or the next turn, you die
(inspired by the Watcher from "Slay the spire", where one card tripples the damage, but kills you next turn
For negotiations, a card that gives shielded but deals somewhere like 2-3 damage to all argument?
i don't understand the battle one, but i'll sit on that idea.
Or something similar, deals huge amount of resolve damage to yourself, but it negates damage for one turn (negotiations)
(mostly useful if you have a lot of arguments and you're overwhelmed by that thing that deals damage to all arguments and it grows in power in each turn)
