I tried a few, most of which were, like you say, essentially the same. Managed one off grid solution. Uploading the screenshot now.

There are a few solutions but the geometry is always topologically equivalent. What was your solution?

Fun puzzle. I got it fairly quickly but it felt a bit too easy, like I might have gotten lucky? Is there more than one solution?
