Remote Station Tau

Remote Station Tau is designed as a highly mobile research outpost to explore the far reaches of the known universe, and serves as an advanced starter base with living and advanced living and life-support features for six (or more) crew. Remote Station Tau includes flight capability for repositioning and a jump drive for traversing great distances. Necessary for sustained operations in remote regions, this station also includes four basic refineries, one advanced assembler with two speed modules and two power efficiency modules, eight batteries and four solar arrays for power, a medical room, two O2/H2 generators, one oxygen tank, four small hydrogen tanks, and hydrogen thruster propulsion. Also included is a programmable block containing Isy's Solar Alignment Script coupled with a remote control that will automatically rotate the station to face the sun to optimize the battery charging process, with power status displayed on an LCD screen, and a programmable block containing Isy's Simple Doors to semi-automate airlock operations. Three docking connectors are included for resupply, accessible through three airlocks. A fourth airlock allows maintenance access to the solar arrays, and airlock two allows ladder access to the upper surfaces of the station for repairs. As shown in the final picture, three upper areas inside the station are undeveloped to allow the player to customize the station for more living quarters or expanding the station's survival capability.

Isy's Solar Alignment Script will take control of the station's gyroscopes to perform the solar alignment by using the gyroscope's override function. Use {7} from the control seat to temporarily disable the programmable block and, if required, turn off gyroscope override using {8} from the control seat to allow uninhibited control of the station when using the station's flight features for repositioning.

Add or remove components as desired to achieve the effect you need for your scenario.
