Michael Tarver

NXT debuted in early 2010 as a cross between a wrestling show and a reality competition. Rookies from FCW were paired up with pros from the WWE roster. The winner of the competition was to receive a title shot in the WWE.

Michael Tarver, a knockout artist, asked to be eliminated early on in the competition. Right after the season ended, Tarver joined the rest of the NXT roster in an invasion of Monday Night Raw, attacking John Cena and establishing The Nexus as a dominant stable.

Tarver remained with the stable until October 2010, when he was attacked by Barrett and kickout of from the group.
