The GE C40-8M were the last variants of the "Dash 8" series built by General Electric between 1990 to 1994. Only three railroads used them for service, all of which were Canadian railroads. Today, Canadian National is the major user of these unique carbody locomotives as BC Rail's fleet was accquired by CN, and Quebec North Shore and Labrador selling theirs for scrap. Unfortunately, CN is in the process of retiring these versatile beasts due to age, crew complaints and more efficient locomotives arriving. In this pack, includes three variants seen on both BC Rail and Canadian National during their heydays.
