Overview

'Escape From Zombie Island II' is an increadibly detailed mod scenario for Civilization III which is available on CivFanatics. This is a simple guide to setting it up for those of you who have just recently purchased Civ III, or perhaps those of you who don't spend much time on CivFanatics.

It's a truely awesome mod. Enjoy!

Installing

Download the Zip File and extract the Escape From Zombie Island 2 Complete Folder and Biq to: Civilization III/Conquests/Scenarios

To Play:
Start Civ III Conquests and select "Civ-Content", and then select "Escape From Zombie Island 2 Complete" Scenario.

Please Review and Consult the Civilopedia for Game Information.

2/6/2014 - Posted Guide
6/16/2017 - Added a mirror link thanks to Lauri Törni after the original link was reported broken.
1/1/2018 - Original download links broke. I found a good download and updated the links. Also moved the change log to it's own section.
5/19/2018 - Reinstalled the mod. Confirmed that the download link works.
3/24/2020 - Updated the download link with a working one provided by 𝓜𝔂𝓽𝓱𝓲𝓬𝓪𝓵.
1/21/2021 - Updated the download link to make it work. CivFanatics apparently changed the way they did their URLs at some point. It works now.
3/30/2022 - The CivFanatics link broke again. I replaced it with the CivForums link that was provided in the comments section. Thanks to user King36912 for providing this!

Steam but I have a solution. The solution is to not play on Halloween. There's some graphics changes from the date. The other issues are because of windowed and windowless version differences, I just have to live with them.

I can confirm the ELITE version of the mod does work.

but again I would much rather prefer the original version of this mod over the ELITE version.

and guide needs to be updated to explain that yes there are 2 different versions of the mod a challenge/ELITE version and the original more relaxing version

the guide definitely needs a title update...as it clearly states its intended to help all install the original mod. NOT the ELITE version.

and yes those are 2 completely different versions of this mod.

i personally am trying out the elite version now.

but.

id prefer the original less challenging version of the mod just so I can relax and enjoy it for what it is
